About The Position

The Facility Maintenance Custodial Associate (Porter) is primarily responsible for the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of the facility. This hands-on role focuses on custodial services, sanitation, and maintaining guest-facing areas to the highest standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a clean and organized environment and is comfortable performing physical cleaning tasks throughout a large entertainment venue.

Requirements

  • Prior janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facility cleaning experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Reliable attendance and dependability.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Stand and walk for up to 8 to 10 hours per shift.
  • Frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach, and twist while cleaning and stocking supplies.
  • Push and pull heavy cleaning carts, trash containers, floor machines, and equipment.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Use both hands continuously for cleaning, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and equipment operation.
  • Climb ladders and step stools to clean elevated surfaces and change supplies.
  • Work around cleaning chemicals while following safety procedures.
  • Perform repetitive motions involving arms, shoulders, wrists, and hands.
  • Navigate all areas of a large entertainment venue multiple times throughout the shift.
  • Work in indoor areas with varying temperatures, noise levels, and activity levels.
  • Respond quickly to spills, hazards, and cleaning emergencies.
  • Maintain physical stamina necessary to perform continuous cleaning and custodial duties throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in entertainment, hospitality, retail, or large public venues is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, dining areas, arcade spaces, meeting rooms, and common areas throughout the day.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors to maintain a clean appearance.
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, railings, and high-touch areas.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
  • Restock restroom supplies, paper products, soap, and cleaning materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness of employee break rooms, offices, and back-of-house areas.
  • Perform deep-cleaning projects on a scheduled basis.
  • Pressure wash designated areas and maintain exterior walkways and entrances.
  • Conduct regular facility walkthroughs to identify cleanliness, safety, or maintenance concerns.
  • Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and guest-related cleaning needs.
  • Set up and break down event spaces when necessary.
  • Assist with minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and facility improvement projects.
  • Report larger maintenance issues to management.
  • Ensure all areas remain guest-ready throughout operating hours.
