About The Position

You will report directly to our HSEF Manager and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact our ability to enhance manufacturing operations, reduce costs, and ensure the highest level of product quality for Honeywell, thereby securing our position as a leader in the industry.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in tooling and/or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools for process optimization.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Project management skills effectively prioritizing and balancing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong commitment to safety and quality.
Candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s/ Associates degree in Engineering or a related field.
Strong leadership skills and ability to drive results.
Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Proficient in CAD (CREO, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks).
Willingness to explore new technologies and “out of the box” thinking.

Responsibilities

Lead and participate in process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the production team, troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues promptly.
Identify cost-saving opportunities, implement cost-effective solutions, and ensure that manufacturing operations are optimized for efficiency.
Assist with project scheduling and resource utilization.
Lead and organize cross-functional meetings.
