About The Position

The Facility IT Support is a hands-on technical professional responsible for supporting DMA’s information technology infrastructure across the Greer Facility. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role provides frontline support for hardware, software, and network systems while ensuring system reliability, security, and performance. The Facility IT Support plays a critical role in maintaining connectivity, supporting DMA’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP platforms, and delivering user training and guidance. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, adaptability, and a customer service mindset to support both day-to-day operations and long-term IT initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of professional IT experience, including systems, networking, and hardware/software support.
Associate’s degree in Information Technology required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access).
Strong knowledge of network protocols, system security, and data integrity controls.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
Self-starter with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
Patient, adaptable, and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work at various heights (ladders, scaffolding, elevated platforms) safely and confidently.
Ability to move within office, warehouse, and equipment areas.
Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds (e.g., equipment, supplies).
Adequate for technology troubleshooting, report review, and verbal communication.
