About The Position

The Facility Housekeeping Technician keeps assigned areas clean and clear of trash, assists with set-up for meetings and special events, and helps with laundry functions as needed. The position also monitors and maintains cleaning chemical storage rooms and bulk trash storage areas, and performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and buffers.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemical capabilities, mixing proportions, and use.
• Knowledge of maintenance and care of finished surfaces.
• Ability to respond to accidents, spills, and other housekeeping emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Keep assigned areas clean and clear of trash.
