Facility Housekeeper
About The Position
Facility Housekeepers keep U-Haul facilities clean and inviting, helping provide exceptional service. The position involves cleaning storage units and shared areas, disposing of trash, and monitoring cleaning supplies. The work environment may involve moderate risks or discomforts, including moving machinery, fumes, or irritant chemicals, and may require protective clothing or gear. The role requires physical exertion, including standing for extended periods, moving around outdoors, reaching objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
Requirements
- Organization skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Self-starter.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
- Dispose of trash.
- Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
