About The Position

The Facility Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, performing maintenance and safety checks, and ensuring a clean and compliant work environment. This role requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and waste tracking protocols. The position is on the night shift, from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 3 years of experience.
• Medium work: Frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs (max 50 lbs occasionally).
• Frequent bending, climbing, and extended periods of sitting/standing.
• Must meet standard vision (near, far, peripheral, color) and hearing requirements to safely operate equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Equipment operation training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more of the following: Backhoe, Heavy duty crane, Heavy duty forklift, Track hoe.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Complete a daily operational checklist.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safe operation.
• Secure containers (using chock blocks, jack stands, etc.) and complete waste tracking paperwork.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to Health & Safety standards.
