About The Position
This position is a work-study role within Campus Recreation at the University of Wyoming, specifically located at Half Acre Gym. The primary purpose of the job is to provide a safe and clean environment for patrons to recreate. The role involves customer service, safety oversight, policy enforcement, cleaning, equipment assistance, and supporting daily operational tasks for the Campus Recreation department.
Requirements
- High School diploma (or GED)
- Current UW student
- Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Oversee main workout area to ensure safety of all users
- Enforce facility policies
- Routinely clean equipment and various facility spaces
- Assist in providing towel service
- Assist with restocking cleaning supplies
- Check out day-use equipment
- Assist Recreation Staff with daily operational tasks
- Effectively communicate with other Campus Recreation staff
- Other duties as assigned
