About The Position

Join us as a Facility Electrical Maintenance Technician, where you’ll be the unsung hero behind the scenes, ensuring our equipment and buildings operate seamlessly. With your troubleshooting prowess and commitment to excellence, you’ll uphold our standards of cleanliness and organization through TPM maintenance and 5S principles.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of Industrial Maintenance Diploma/ Degree or Similar.
  • Basic English language competency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Understanding of Electrical / Mechanical systems and NEC Codes.
  • Must certify and maintain valid certifications for all powered industrial vehicles and overhead crane operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Maintenance Technology preferred.
  • 2-5 years of demonstrated maintenance experience in a similar environment preferred.
  • Experience in troubleshooting refrigeration system.
  • Basic understanding of preventative maintenance techniques and processes.
  • Basic understanding of troubleshooting mechanical systems.
  • Universal license refrigeration is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a general technician for all facility-related equipment for building and grounds.
  • Observe operations of equipment, troubleshoot problems, and make adjustments and minor repairs as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment, including light fixtures, HVAC units, fire alarms, domestic water systems, and fire pumps (electrical support included). Including Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and electrical drawings. Troubleshoot AC units while making necessary adjustments and minor repairs.
  • Install electrical and mechanical piping for process equipment.
  • Maintain and perform preventive maintenance (PM) and service requests on facility-related equipment, including rooftop AC units, direct fire heaters, fire alarms, and interior and exterior lighting.
  • Safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes, forklifts, RTVs, booms, and scissor lifts, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Achieve and maintain powered industrial vehicle certification within 30 days of starting, proving your commitment to safety and operational excellence.
  • Understand and comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements, playing a vital role in our commitment to quality and environmental standards.
  • Take on special projects and related tasks as requested, showcasing your versatility and dedication.
