About The Position

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of buildings and ground, performing routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and sanitation tasks.

Requirements

GED/High School Diploma or equivalent
One to two years of Janitorial experience preferred.
Must be organized and possess the ability to carry out a variety of functions within a specific timeframe.
Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment or independently.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; exhibiting a customer service mindset.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
Responsible for upholding the company’s values, vision and mission by integrating integrity, respect, accountability, resourcefulness and innovation into their daily tasks.

Responsibilities

Gathers and empties all trash receptacles throughout the plant, including lunchroom, bathrooms, designated smoking areas, and all administrative offices.
Services, sanitizes, and keeps supplies in order in all bathroom facilities.
Monitors overall cleanliness of lunchroom and restroom facilities to ensure tables, floors, and general areas are clean and free from trash.
Gathers and disposes of all used smoking materials from designated smoking areas in a safe manner.
Operates facility floor sweeper ensuring production aisles are clean and free of dirt, dust, and debris.
Vacuums, sweeps, mops, strips and seals floors.
Washes and cleans windows and mirrors.
Dusts furniture and fixtures.
Performs property maintenance to include removal of debris (trash, leaves, snow, etc..) from sidewalks and parking areas.
Notify supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
