Facility Custodian
About The Position
The Facility Custodian is responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, appearance, and general safety of the common areas within the facility, including the restrooms, offices and showroom. They work with a minimum of supervision to ensure his or her assigned areas are maintained in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition by performing various tasks using the necessary equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate for this position has at least one year of custodial/janitorial experience that includes knowledge of basic cleaning supplies and equipment and safety. They must be committed to the customers, reliable to his or her co-workers, and be a self-motivated, organized, and detailed individual. Requirements
- Custodial experience preferred
- Knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Able to work Monday through Friday, 8 hour days
Responsibilities
- Cleans and sanitizes restrooms/common areas using established practices and procedures
- Maintains sanitizing standards and cleanliness of the dealership areas
- Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies
- Completes any reports or logs
