About The Position

Noble Hearts HR Consulting & Staffing is currently hiring experienced Facility Cooks for juvenile residential facilities located in the Bronx and Brooklyn, NYC. We are seeking dependable and professional individuals with institutional or commercial cooking experience who can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high food safety standards. Pay Rate: $26.90 per hour. Weekly Pay. Immediate Openings Available. Full-Time, Flexible, & Per Diem Positions Available.

Requirements

Valid NYC Food Protection Certificate (Required)
Minimum 1–2 years of commercial, institutional, or facility cooking experience
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
Experience working with commercial kitchen equipment
Ability to work weekends and holidays when needed

Nice To Haves

Experience in residential, juvenile, shelter, healthcare, or community-based facilities preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to approved recipes and dietary guidelines
Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule, including breakfasts and packed lunches
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in kitchen and dining areas
Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and properly
Supervise and assist kitchen helpers and support staff as needed
Monitor food inventory and complete production logs/documentation
Follow all NYC food safety and health regulations
Support meal service operations within the facility environment
