About The Position

Provide Members, guests and team members with a facility which is in clean, working and maintained order. Areas include the interior and exterior of the buildings and amenities, along with the café, pickleball, tennis, bocce ball, fitness areas and pools. It may also include similar types of work at the Clubhouse.

Requirements

Two years of facility maintenance experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
Good organizational and verbal skills.
Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues.
Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas and write and read member communication.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift to 80 lbs., up to 40 lbs. frequently.
Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
Ability to consistently lift, carry and load equipment that may weigh 50 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.

Nice To Haves

Use the following safety precautions when using an 8ft. ladder: Correct placement of the ladder. The safest angle for a straight ladder is to ensure it is placed on-fourth the distance from the base to the point of support. “A” frame ladders naturally comply. Ensure the ladder is placed on a firm level surface, and do not place the ladder near a doorway. Ensure there are non-skid shoes on the ladder. If using a medal ladder, be sure that it is not near electrical wires. One person on a ladder at one time, and ensure another staff member is holding the ladder in position. Never overreach.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain cleanliness and functionality of locker rooms, restrooms, service departments, offices, storage areas, and amenities.
Perform maintenance procedures as needed to ensure safe and sanitary conditions.
Complete and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual building maintenance checklists.
Perform facility opening and closing duties as assigned.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building systems and equipment.
Respond promptly to repair needs and maintenance issues.
Ensure all equipment is properly monitored, maintained, and stored.
Purchase and manage maintenance supplies in alignment with budget guidelines.
Provide members, guests, and staff with courteous, professional, and knowledgeable service.
Support the promotion and execution of club activities and events.
Enforce club rules and regulations respectfully and consistently.
Help protect and preserve the physical assets of the Club.
Purchase and maintain supplies within budgetary constraints.
Complete reports and maintenance logs as required.
Protect the assets of the Club.
Other duties as assigned by management.
