Facility Assistant
About The Position
Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) is seeking Facility Assistants to join their team in Lyalta, Alberta. This role offers opportunities for candidates at all levels of experience, including Facility Assistant I, II, and III. P&H is a Canadian, family-owned and managed agri-business with over 115 years of history, operating across grain merchandising, flour milling, crop input distribution, and animal feed production with over 80 locations nationwide and global trade links. Requirements
- Experience with general labour, preferably in agriculture and/or farming.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.).
- Must be able to work in environments subject to dust and allergens.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule in all weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a customer service role is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain.
- Overall execution of processes involved in the operations of the grain facility.
- Contributing to the movement of grain by loading/unloading shipments.
- Collecting and testing grain samples.
- Handling and delivering crop input products.
- Regular facility maintenance and housekeeping.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
- Performing exceptional customer service duties.
