About The Position

The Facility Administrator is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and oversight of operations within a federally contracted ICE residential facility. This position leads operational planning, staff management, compliance monitoring, and service delivery across multiple functional areas, including housing, supervision, case coordination, medical services, behavioral health, and facility logistics. The Facility Administrator ensures continuous operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of safe, efficient, and resident-centered services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Services, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in facility operations, program administration, residential services, institutional operations, emergency management, or related fields.
  • Experience working with migrant populations or culturally diverse groups
  • Experience supporting compliance-driven operations and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven supervisory/leadership experience in fast-paced or emergency response settings
  • Ability to manage complex operations with competing priorities and rapid scaling requirements
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required background checks, clearances, and credential
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary team environments
  • Familiarity with incident management or emergency response frameworks
  • Experience supporting audits, inspections, accreditation reviews, or regulatory compliance activities.
  • Training or experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, or de-escalation techniques.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, risk management, incident reporting, and compliance monitoring practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, is required.
  • Employees must be a U.S. Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of the following screening: Federal background investigation (up to and including a Tier 4 DHS clearance), Criminal history check, Verification of employment and education history, Compliance with all government credentialing requirements, Drug Screening
  • Employees must adhere to all federal security, confidentiality, and operational protocols while working within government facilities.

  • Anovaeon operates 24 hours/365 days and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Internal background check to the satisfaction of contract requirements.
  • If applicable, Child Abuse/ Neglect Report (CAN) or child protective services check with no adverse findings.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and conduct facility rounds for extended periods (8–12 hours per shift)
  • Ability to lift and move supplies up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergencies throughout the facility
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
  • Ability to review documentation, reports, and operational records with attention to detail.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods for administrative tasks and documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in government, healthcare, residential, institutional, emergency response, humanitarian, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facility operations and ensure continuity of services within a 24/7 residential program.
  • Direct coordination across functional areas, including: Intake and discharge operations, Supervision and housing, Case management, medical, and behavioral health services, Logistics, food service, and facility maintenance.
  • Ensure operational readiness for continuous intake and discharge cycles.
  • Oversee staffing plans, resource allocation, and shift coverage to maintain appropriate levels of supervision and service delivery.
  • Serve as the primary on-site leader responsible for facility operations and program performance.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to management, supervisory, and frontline staff.
  • Conduct operational briefings and promote communication and continuity across all shifts and departments.
  • Oversee staff onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, operational procedures, and standards of conduct.
  • Promote a professional, respectful, and accountable workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable contractual requirements, organizational policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee quality assurance efforts related to documentation, recordkeeping, safety, security, sanitation, and operational practices.
  • Direct incident response, investigations, corrective actions, and required reporting activities.
  • Monitor facility conditions and coordinate corrective actions to address operational, safety, or compliance concerns.
  • Maintain readiness for audits, inspections, monitoring visits, and compliance reviews.
  • Oversee operational records, reports, and tracking systems.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of operational reports, staffing documentation, incident reports, and required submissions.
  • Monitor documentation practices to ensure compliance with organizational and contractual requirements.
  • Provide regular operational updates, recommendations, and performance reports to organizational leadership and government stakeholders.
  • Work closely with administrative, operational, medical, behavioral health, and support service teams.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between departments to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Lead resolution of operational issues affecting residents, staff, or facility operations.
  • Promote a resident-centered environment that emphasizes safety, dignity, professionalism, and respect.
