Requirements

  • High school degree required.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers and software utilized by the office.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires standing for extended periods of time.
  • Some exposure to cleaning chemicals, requiring attentive and safe utilization.
  • Must successfully complete all required background/pre-employment checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum two years experience in building and/or mechanical trades preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safe, clean, and well-functioning buildings, grounds, and facilities by completing inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and upkeep activities.
  • Perform general maintenance duties, including painting, carpentry, light electrical work, light plumbing, and other facility repair tasks, ensuring work is completed accurately and within established timeframes.
  • Maintain and support the safe operation of agency vehicles, tools, equipment, and building systems while adhering to safety, licensing, accreditation, and agency standards.
  • Support seasonal and operational needs, including landscaping, snow removal, and event setup and teardown, ensuring tasks are completed promptly and effectively.
  • Identify, report, and address maintenance needs, safety concerns, damage, and repair priorities while maintaining accurate work orders and maintenance records.
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance materials, supplies, parts, and tools to ensure resources are available to support facility operations.
  • Foster a positive environment through responsive customer service and professional interactions with staff, clients, visitors, and community members, contributing to positive feedback regarding facility appearance and safety.
  • Participate in maintenance team meetings, required training, quality improvement initiatives, and other assigned duties while safely performing physical job requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Once entry into the plan, employees receive a 3% employer contribution each pay period and an up to an additional 5% profit sharing .
