About The Position

This is an entry-level, part-time position responsible for performing general custodial duties, assisting with event setups and teardowns, supporting office moves, and maintaining the overall appearance and orderliness of the campus and its premises. The role also involves assisting with campus security and requires a proactive approach to supporting the organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Perform general, routine custodial duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, restocking supplies, cleaning offices and common areas, and emptying trash cans.
• Perform tasks related to the set-up and teardown of rooms, worship center, and outdoor event areas.
• Assist with office moves, moving items, and retrieving supplies from the warehouse or storage areas.
• Assist in maintaining the orderliness and appearance of campus and office premises, including classrooms, meeting rooms, storage areas, and exterior grounds.
• Assist in offices and campus security by verifying that all outside entrances are secure and locked as directed by the supervisor.
• Proactively communicate, support, and fulfill the mission, vision, core values, purposes, and goals of Bayside Church.
• Maintain open and frequent communication with supervisor, other staff, and volunteer team leaders and members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
