About The Position

The Facilities Worker II position at West Kentucky Community & Technical College is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the school. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the campus environment is kept as clean and orderly as possible.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED

Responsibilities

• Replenishing stock in bathrooms
• Cleaning restrooms
• Gathering and emptying trash
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Monitoring building safety and security
• Dusting surfaces
• Cleaning entryways, sidewalks, and porches
• Vacuuming carpeted areas
• Depositing trash in exterior dumpsters
• Emptying recycle cans and depositing them in the appropriate location
• Cleaning windows to a safe height
• Cleaning furniture as directed
• Spot cleaning spills and stains
• Sweeping and wet mopping all non-carpeted areas
• Daily cleaning and disinfecting of kitchens, restrooms, and classrooms
• Re-supplying bathrooms with disposable supplies
• Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor
