About The Position

Somerset Community College invites applications for a 2nd shift Facilities Worker II position on the Laurel Campus. The standard work schedule is 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday. The schedule is subject to change based on day-to-day needs. This role performs assigned duties relative to the care, upkeep, and security of college property, including all phases of maintenance and cleaning of buildings and grounds. The position may occasionally require lifting up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of related experience

• Maintenance/custodial experience in a commercial setting

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned duties relative to the care, upkeep, and security of college property.
• Perform all phases of maintenance and cleaning of buildings and grounds.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
