About The Position

As a Facilities / Truck Repair Supervisor at JLL, you'll sustain our comprehensive Facility Management Program by providing direct supervision of operational support personnel, including managing JLL UAW Trades, scheduling for preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance work, and project workloads. Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in Truck Repair / Fleet Management
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience in supervision
  • Strong organizational and management skills with proven ability to provide direction to staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal and presentation abilities
  • Computer skills proficiency required
  • Experience managing union trades personnel and understanding of UAW operations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with building automation and monitoring systems
  • Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and emergency response procedures
  • Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies
  • Background in fleet management and mobile equipment operations
  • Experience managing vendor contracts and outside contractor supervision

Responsibilities

  • Manage and schedule JLL UAW trades personnel and mobile equipment technicians while overseeing vendor contracts as required
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs across mobile equipment and fleet operations
  • Manage building automation systems, monitoring systems, data centers, security systems, and energy conservation initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with life safety systems including fire sprinkler systems, smoke/fire detection, fire extinguishers, and evacuation plans
  • Perform safe operating tours, investigate and implement assigned projects, and provide on-site coverage during weekend production
  • Maintain fleet management operations including scheduled preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and spare parts inventory management
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and ordering parts as needed to maintain part availability
  • Lead the team in GMS principles and management of the team level 4/5 BPD board
