About The Position

The Facilities Technician is responsible for responding to, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of equipment and systems within the physical plant. This includes HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, pools, and life safety systems. The role also involves performing preventative maintenance, painting, drywall repair, and mechanical maintenance. A key aspect of the position is ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and safety procedures. Additionally, the technician will address guest issues related to engineering promptly and efficiently, maintaining high service standards and responding effectively to service requests or emergencies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of engineering and maintenance experience.
  • Technical training in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull, and carry objects.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance tasks, streamline workflows, and ensure proper documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Respond, diagnose and repair a variety of equipment and systems within the physical plant, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, pools, and life safety systems.
  • Perform tasks such as preventative maintenance, painting, drywall repair, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal, State, and Local regulations, including certifications (e.g., HVAC, pool operations, electrical).
  • Follow safety procedures, including basic emergency protocols.
  • Address guest issues related to engineering promptly and efficiently, while maintaining high service standards.
  • Respond effectively to service requests or emergencies.
