About The Position

The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining company buildings, grounds, and support equipment to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operations. This role performs general repairs, preventive maintenance, basic construction tasks, and assists with fleet, warehouse, and facility needs across company locations. The Facilities Technician helps keep offices, warehouses, and service centers operating smoothly so field teams can focus on serving customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ years of maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of general building systems and repair methods.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently.
  • Basic computer or smartphone skills for work orders, communication, and scheduling.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company offices, warehouses, shops, and storage areas.
  • Complete minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and HVAC-related tasks within skill level.
  • Maintain building interiors and exteriors, including doors, locks, lighting, shelving, and fixtures.
  • Inspect facilities regularly and identify repair or safety concerns.
  • Maintain grounds, parking lots, walkways, and landscaping appearance.
  • Coordinate trash removal, pest-proofing, and general cleanliness of company properties.
  • Set up and move furniture, equipment, and workstations as needed.
  • Support warehouse organization, storage systems, and inventory of maintenance supplies.
  • Assist with fleet support such as minor vehicle upkeep, cleaning, fueling, tire checks, and coordinating outside repairs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from managers and staff.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment safely.
  • Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and completed work orders.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety rules, and property standards.
  • Be available for occasional after-hours or emergency maintenance calls.
