This individual will be responsible for but not limited to the maintaining of the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center. The Facilities Technician will also be responsible for general building maintenance, including roof inspections, landscaping, plumbing, painting, carpentry, lighting, knowledge of electricity and electric control panels, drywall installation and repair, concrete repairs & coatings, high bay racking, and roll up doors. They will also manage janitorial requirements and supplies, ensure building safety and safety for all personnel, identify facility needs and potential problem areas, and use all shop tools. The role requires CAL OSHA certification on specific equipment and maintaining OSHA compliance for the department. Communication with upper management and the Maintenance Manager is essential, along with good oral and written communication skills. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to perform housekeeping duties, accept constructive criticism, work professionally and courteously, and perform special projects as needed, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
