About The Position

This individual will be responsible for but not limited to the maintaining of the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center. The hourly pay range is $24 - $26/hour. The work schedule is Sunday - Thursday / 2am - 10:30am.

Requirements

• Experience with Distribution and/or commercial building maintenance.
• Must be CAL OSHA certified on a Reach and/or Order Picker/Walker Rider equipment, etc.
• Extensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures with an emphasis on safety.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to take constructive criticism.
• Ability to work in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 4-5+ years in Maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• Any training or schooling in electricity and electric control panels is a plus.
• Specific knowledge of scanners, print & apply machines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center.
• General roof inspections (Roof Drains, Exhaust fans, AC, Roof membrane).
• Landscaping.
• Plumbing.
• Painting.
• Carpentry.
• Lighting.
• Knowledge of electricity and electric control panels.
• Drywall installation and repair.
• Concrete repairs & coatings.
• High bay racking.
• Roll up doors.
• Janitorial requirements and supplies (good housekeeping).
• Building safety and safety for all personnel.
• Ability to identify facility needs and or potential problem areas.
• Ability to use all shop tools.
• Keep the department OSHA Compliant.
• Communicate with upper management on a daily basis.
• Take directives from Maintenance Manager.
• Perform housekeeping duties when needed.
• Perform any other special projects and general requests made by direct supervisor as needed.
• Contribute hands on.
• Work with minimal supervision.
