About The Position

The Facilities Technician supports company-owned locations throughout Tennessee by assessing repairs, safety, and cleanliness in interior and exterior areas. The role performs preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, coordinates with vendors and corporate staff, manages facilities budgets, and helps keep studios operating optimally. The technician works alongside the Facilities Director and uses company platforms to organize and track repairs. The position may include after-hours work and requires adapting to changing studio needs and weather conditions.

Requirements

Skills in patching and painting.
Plumbing skills.

Mechanical skills.
General construction skills.
Experience leading and coaching a team of four or more people.
Computer skills.
Experience maintaining and repairing fitness equipment.
Confidence troubleshooting technology.
Freemotion certification.

Responsibilities

Visit all company-owned locations on a regular schedule to assess repairs, safety, and cleanliness in interior and exterior areas.
Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections of equipment in all facilities.
Respond to emergency calls.
Perform emergency repairs on equipment and coordinate with vendors and corporate staff to ensure equipment is maintained and fixed within a reasonable timeline.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance with approved vendors when needed.
Manage facilities budgets and work within them.
Respond to emails and other communications in a timely manner.
Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions and inspect for potential issues.
Become familiar with and follow warranty specifications.
Work alongside the Facilities Director to keep studios operating at an optimal level.
Use facilities platforms to ensure repairs and responses are organized and timely.
Adapt to changing studio needs and a fast-moving industry.
