About The Position

The Facilities Technician, referred to in the description as the Maintenance Technician, supports AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s mission and values by performing preventative maintenance at leased and owned properties, maintaining property, and completing renovations as needed. The role uses prior experience and supervisory skills to ensure maintenance and renovation work is completed successfully and on time. It requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, team management, and the ability to identify malfunctions and perform repairs at AHF locations. Compliance with industry standards and safety conditions is paramount. The technician works as part of a close-knit team with the Healthy Housing Foundations Regional Property Operations Manager and other managers at AHF sites, supporting the functionality of machinery and equipment. AHF describes its environment as collaborative and dynamic, with staff accountable to multiple leaders and expected to adapt to support clients and employees. Requirements

Prior maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance at leased and owned properties.
Maintain property and perform renovations as needed.
Ensure maintenance and renovation work is completed successfully and in a timely manner.
Detect malfunctions and conduct repairs at AHF locations.
Work with the Healthy Housing Foundations Regional Property Operations Manager and other AHF site managers on the functionality of machinery and equipment.
Follow applicable industry standards and safety conditions.
