About The Position

The Facilities Technician is responsible for responding to, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of equipment and systems within the physical plant, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, pools, and life safety systems. This role also involves performing tasks such as preventative maintenance, painting, drywall repair, and mechanical maintenance. The technician will ensure compliance with all relevant Federal, State, and Local regulations, including certifications, and adhere to safety procedures and basic emergency protocols. A key aspect of the role is providing excellent customer service by promptly and efficiently addressing guest issues related to engineering and responding effectively to service requests or emergencies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of engineering and maintenance experience.
  • Technical training in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull, and carry objects.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance tasks, streamline workflows, and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
