Facilities Technician - JLL What this job involves: As an HVAC Technician I – Industrial (Maintenance Support), you will perform entry-level HVAC maintenance tasks in an industrial facility, supporting reliable system operation and contributing to JLL’s commitment to operational excellence. This hands-on role offers exposure to industrial HVAC equipment, emphasizes safety, and provides opportunities to learn established maintenance practices. You'll work under the guidance of senior technicians and supervisors, ensuring consistent system performance while maintaining compliance with site-specific procedures and safety standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment
Willingness to learn industrial HVAC maintenance practices
Ability to perform repetitive maintenance tasks consistently and safely
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, on ladders, and in mechanical rooms

Nice To Haves

Basic familiarity with HVAC systems or mechanical equipment
Experience in general maintenance or material handling
Comfortable working in industrial environments and varying temperatures
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and use hand tools for extended periods
Awareness of safety procedures including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout practices

Responsibilities

Change air filters on HVAC equipment (air handling units, rooftop units, exhaust systems) per established schedules
Clean evaporator and condenser coils using approved methods and materials
Inspect HVAC components during servicing, reporting issues such as damage, leaks, or abnormal conditions to senior staff
Assist with maintaining clean and orderly mechanical spaces
Support senior HVAC technicians with basic tasks during maintenance and service activities
Perform general maintenance duties as assigned, including equipment cleaning and material handling
Follow all safety procedures, use PPE, and report safety concerns promptly
