About The Position

Join the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) team, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking innovations! We are seeking applicants for a Facilities Technician to join our Facilities Team.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or other U.S. person
5+ years working experience and a high school diploma, or 4+ years and a certification, or a bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of experience
Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
Working knowledge of Microsoft office and the ability to communicate effectively
Willingness to provide support outside of core business hours

Knows the tools of the-trade and know how to operate them safely
Ability to work in the discomfort of extreme weather conditions
Ability to present and promote a positive image to vendors, customers, and all of SDL
Maintains a positive mental attitude under stressful situations
Works independently with little or no direction
Ability to lift, drag or carry 40 pounds, and spend substantial time walking, or standing
Preventative maintenance experience
Ability to change direction at a moment’s notice

Responsibilities

Performs preventative maintenance and repair of air handlers, boilers, chillers, roof top units, exhaust fans, vehicles, and other equipment as needed
Develops and maintains great working relationships with colleagues, customers and vendors.
