The Facilities Technician is responsible for routine and preventive maintenance including troubleshooting, repair/replacement of facilities equipment. Requirements

1-3 years of Facilities Maintenance experience.
High School diploma, Military, Technical School, or Associate’s Degree.
Experience in plumbing, electrical, and construction.
Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Outlook.
Valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s license.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of GMP/GLP and ISO 9001 is a plus.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and is comfortable working in a team environment.
Construction, electrical, and plumbing skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good reporting and documentation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
Good organizational skills.
Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Performs routine carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks.
General maintenance duties such as replacing light bulbs, installing/repairing items, painting, moving equipment or furniture, general upkeep of the facility, etc.
Ensures major equipment and furnishings are maintained in safe, operable condition and/or arrange for replacement.
Ensures that the facility is maintained in accordance with relevant regulations and fiscal consideration.
Maintains tools & maintenance equipment in working order and keeps maintenance room in neat condition.
Identify, and maintain an inventory of spare parts for applicable Alcami equipment.
Perform PM’s and regular maintenance on Alcami’s back-up generators.
Troubleshoot and repair/maintain complex equipment.
Runs low voltage lines.
Lead projects, perform work and/or coordinate work with other team members/departments or outside contractors as needed to complete projects.
Work with and coordinate with the other trades on the Facilities team.
Comply with all policies and work instructions.
Maintain good housekeeping practices and participate in 5S activities.
Projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
