About The Position

The Facilities Technician – Pools is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and overall condition of all pool and spa systems across the property. This includes water quality management, equipment upkeep, and ensuring all areas meet state health codes and Grand View Lodge standards. Requirements

  • Experience in pool operations, aquatics maintenance, or related field
  • Knowledge of water chemistry, pool systems, and safety regulations
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality or golf course maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper pool and spa water chemistry in accordance with Minnesota health regulations
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain filtration, circulation, and chemical systems
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on pools, hot tubs, and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, heaters, valves, and mechanical systems
  • Ensure all aquatics areas are clean, safe, and guest-ready at all times
  • Partner with the broader Facilities team to support and assist with property-wide general maintenance needs
  • Respond promptly to service requests with a solutions-oriented and guest-first mindset
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation for compliance and internal standards
