Ensures the Goodwill Opportunity Campus (to include GW and Second Editions) and The Goodwill Construction Skills Training Center, facility structure and mechanicals are well maintained, by conducting the following duties personally, or through the support of contractors. This role involves conducting weekly facilities checklists, documenting and submitting summaries, creating work orders, and implementing corrective actions. It also includes weekly testing and inspection of building fire pump and emergency generator, monthly inspections of safety equipment, and supporting project management functions such as assisting with contracts, schematics, cost estimates, and RFPs. The technician will also secure quotes, schedule replacements, and manage scope for capital improvement projects, conduct daily building surveys, schedule and close work order tickets using CMMS systems, perform preventive maintenance on HVAC units, replace or repair plumbing fixtures, perform light construction and painting, install or replace electrical components, inspect interior and exterior systems, disarm and reset fire sprinkler systems, set up conference areas, and conduct safety drills. The role also involves working with management on building surveys and inspections, providing research and pricing for needed equipment, and being available for emergency needs, including nights and weekends. Responsibilities include training, addressing facility complaints, and reporting circumstances to the Maintenance Supervisor and Director, Facility Services.
