About The Position

Provide technical support for all facility related maintenance areas by performing preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and troubleshooting of facility equipment and process support systems.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.
  • Demonstrate understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
  • Demonstrate basic understanding of PLC Program Logic and BMS.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot automated equipment using Siemens software ladder logic.
  • Demonstrate experience in Motor/Motor Drive Troubleshooting – Repairs.
  • Demonstrate experience in Hydraulic Component Troubleshooting – Repairs.
  • Demonstrate experience in Pneumatic Component Troubleshooting – Repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production support equipment for a safe and productive work environment.
  • Provide technical support to ensure facility equipment is in a constant state of readiness.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to maintain safety and increase up-time of equipment.
  • Determine spare parts requirements and make recommendations for equipment.
  • Train Facility Maintenance Technicians Level I according to certification process.
  • Must comply with all safety standards and regulations provided by the company and government.
  • Satisfactorily perform all requirements for a Facility Technician Level I.
  • Identify and requisition parts utilizing OEM Service Drawings.
  • Produce drawings and fabricate simple parts in the Maintenance/Machine shop.
  • Effectively evaluate, troubleshoot and repair major mechanical breakdowns.
  • Supports and complies with established Company’s Corporate Principles.
  • Effectively evaluate, troubleshoot and repair major electrical/electronic breakdowns.
  • Effectively evaluate, troubleshoot and repair major hydraulic/pneumatic systems and components.
  • Utilize Controller functions to retrieve error messages to aid problem solving.
  • Effectively troubleshoot equipment utilizing PLC program.
  • Effectively troubleshoot 480V, 3-phase circuits, 120V and 24V circuits.
  • Assist with Motor / Motor Drive troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair.
  • Document all corrective and preventive maintenance performed throughout the course of the day in SAP or other CMMS system.
  • Participate and contribute in a team environment by working with all levels of employees and co-workers.
  • Perform all required duties and communicate information within shift overlap procedure.
  • Perform all quality checks including measurements and document in SPC system in accordance to job specifications and standard work practices within assigned work area.
  • Adhere to all housekeeping SOP's in and around work area including 5S standards.
  • Understand and comply with TS 16949 and ISO 14000 requirements.
  • Other duties as it relates to this position.
