About The Position

Rolling Hills Country Club is seeking a seasonal full time skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician I to support the upkeep, repair, and improvement of club facilities. This role focuses on maintaining and supporting general facility maintenance operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high-quality spaces and works well both independently and as part of a maintenance team to ensure the club remains safe, functional, and visually well maintained.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work on ladders or lifts.
  • Ability to work Wednesday-Friday 7-3:30 and Saturday-Sunday 9am-1pm.
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours a week if available.
  • Experience in building maintenance and facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge of drywall repair and door hardware.
  • Ability to learn how to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Multi-trade skills such as painting, landscaping, cleaning, organizing shop areas
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Polished, professional appearance and presentation
  • Ability to manage time

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on doors, frames, cabinets, furniture, shelving, trim, and other carpentry elements throughout the facility.
  • Install and repair baseboards, molding, drywall, paneling, ceilings, and other finish carpentry features.
  • Adjust and repair locks, hinges, door hardware, and related components.
  • Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner and troubleshoot facility repair issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs
  • Build and install cabinetry, counters, shelving, and storage solutions as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining facility cleanliness and operational readiness when needed.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Document completed work, materials used, and maintenance activity through the facility work order system.
  • Communicate repair timelines, project progress, and maintenance needs to supervisors.
