About The Position

The Facilities team ensures that every operation across the site is “go” at all times, supporting everything from power and utilities to highly specialized machines like industrial 3D printers. Our 1 million square foot headquarters is complex: one structure, but functionally 20 mini factories under one roof. This team is deeply embedded in both planning and execution, brought in early to shape the physical assets that will support scaled operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience performing building maintenance, construction repairs, or related work, with attention to the quality of completed repairs and finishes.
  • Ability to provide before-and-after photos demonstrating relevant prior repair or finishing work.
  • Experience using forklifts, reach lifts, personnel lifts, or similar equipment, and willingness and ability to obtain in-house forklift certification.
  • Valid California driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation to complete assigned shifts.
  • Willingness to learn multiple facility trades and systems and work non-standard shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

  • Complete general building repairs, including basic carpentry, drywall, painting, patching, and repairs to doors, fixtures, flooring, and other building finishes.
  • Respond to facility work requests through JIRA, provide status updates, and document completed work.
  • Assist Facilities technicians with preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and basic troubleshooting; report unsafe conditions, leaks, damage, and equipment issues.
  • Move and organize pallets, equipment, and materials using hand tools, forklifts, lifts, and other equipment when trained and authorized; maintain clean, safe, and accessible workspaces.
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, contractors, and vendors to support facility projects, installations, equipment moves, construction activities, and emergency response needs.
  • Follow company safety, environmental, and security requirements while performing work that involves lifting and handling up to 50 pounds, working at heights and on ladders, squatting, stooping, or kneeling with a tool belt, and working outdoors in heat, cold, wind, or rain.
