About The Position

Legend Brands is hiring for Facilities Technician I/II at our Burlington, WA location. This position is on the swing shift working Monday - Friday 3:30 pm - 12:00 am. There is a $2.00 per hour shift differential for this position. Under general supervision, the Facilities Technician I/II is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance, repair, and operation of the Legend Brands facilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Proper use of necessary tools, equipment, and PPE
  • Material Handling and Storage
  • MSD Requirements within 6 months of hire (if not currently certified)
  • Forklift Certification
  • Lock Out Tag Out
  • Aerial Lift Operation
  • Facilities Technician II classification requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience, knowledge, and competent demonstration of the following
  • Solid understanding of plumbing, electrical, and basic construction processes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with carpet cleaning and/or floor care and refinishing is desired
  • General understanding of the facilities and the impact facility maintenance has on daily operations

Responsibilities

  • Maintain building performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, and other related maintenance activities
  • Maintain exterior of facility, clean parking areas, pressure wash, paint touch up and other activities related to the maintenance of the exterior grounds
  • Assists in cleaning and sanitizing buildings including cleaning carpets and hard floor surfaces when needed and maintains mechanical systems and other operations as required
  • Provides general interior maintenance; hangs pictures, repairs office furniture systems, repairs doors; moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other items as needed
  • Assists the Facilities Team in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment as directed
  • Services and maintains assigned equipment and makes minor mechanical adjustments and repairs on related equipment such as checking/servicing fuel, oil, coolant levels, tire pressure, and general appearance; takes necessary steps to bring equipment up to operating standard.
  • Support tooling readiness for new parts and products
  • Perform ongoing preventative and repair response work on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, installed systems, equipment, and other components
  • Managing multiple projects
  • Performing preventative maintenance practices individually or as part of a team
