About The Position

This role is responsible for performing a variety of facility maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the casino hotel. The technician will handle repair requests, conduct preventive maintenance, and manage work orders. The position requires a positive attitude, exceptional service delivery, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The technician must also be available for on-call situations, including after hours and weekends, and be able to work in various environmental conditions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years' experience in facility maintenance or related field.
  • Proven knowledge of and competent ability with tools and techniques associated with typical facility repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, flooring, roofing, and wall coverings.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Proven record of working independently and accomplishing tasks without direct supervision.
  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems, evaluate data, and learn.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from Fort Sill Apache Gaming Commission.
  • Pass all required pre-employment processing, including a background check and drug-screening test.

  • Technical school or formal apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Portray a positive attitude and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel, providing exceptional service.
  • Accomplish work order requests for facility repairs and improvements, including plumbing, electrical, structural, flooring, roofing, painting, drywall, HVAC, lighting, building safety, and key systems, completing work in a timely manner.
  • Perform preventive maintenance procedures on plumbing, electrical, structural, flooring, roofing, painting, drywall, HVAC, lighting, building safety, and key systems.
  • Monitor and record equipment and system performance.
  • Assist in completing work requests from internal and external customers using the Info Centre work order request system.
  • Request supplies and tools as needed.
  • Operate a motor vehicle.
  • Be available after hours and on weekends for on-call situations, reporting for work calls during inclement weather when necessary.
  • Provide excellent service to internal and external customers, working effectively with peers, team members, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by reporting senior.
  • Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
  • Maintain regular attendance.
  • Adhere to all casino policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
  • Follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Communicate clearly verbally and in writing, read and interpret complex information, and actively listen.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor during stressful situations.
  • Demonstrate a high level of service delivery and handle service failures.
