About The Position

The Facilities Technician I is responsible for routine facility maintenance tasks. The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 6:30AM – 3:00PM and some weekends. Overtime is routine. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency. This position reports to the Facilities Manager and is part of the Facilities team in New Port Richey, FL and will be an on-site role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Equivalent AND able to meet Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements to occasionally drive various equipment.
  • Knowledge in at least one trade Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, OR one of the allied trades.
  • Must be a self-starter, be able to follow instructions and read adjustable measuring instruments and gauges requiring interpretation.
  • Ability to lift 0-10 LBS continuously, 11-20 LBS frequently, 21-100 LBS occasionally, push/ pull 0-25 LBS frequently, and 26-100 LBS occasionally with assistance if needed. Bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, reach above the shoulder continuously, crawl frequently, and climb.
  • U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance. This may include activities like repairing office furniture, replacing light fixtures, and maintaining air conditioning and heating systems. Ensure that all systems are working seamlessly to provide a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility's systems. Confirm that all functions are compliant with safety regulations and operational policies. When issues arise, you are responsible for putting solutions into action.
  • Support continuous improvement and operational readiness, including equipment assembly, emergency repairs, and grounds support, and flexibility to work overtime, off-shifts.
