Requirements

  • Typically requires a HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of facilities, logistics and shipping and receiving.
  • Handyman experience (knowledge of the four major trades in facilities - carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC)
  • Knowledge of hand tools and how to properly use them.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only US citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems.

  • Ability to build furniture such as put together chairs, desks, and other office furniture.
  • Self – directed and motivated.
  • Highly organized; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to solve problems with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in projects involving both the physical facility and the logistics area (shipping and receiving area) that covers our facility in Anaheim Hills, CA.
  • Build office furniture, arrange moves for employees and new hires.
  • Responsible for all facilities work orders and shipping & receiving.
  • Assisting site employees with facility requests.
  • Work with our property manager to resolve any issues.
  • Supervise and escort outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation; anything over 25 lbs would need to be assisted.
