Facilities Tech Lead- A Shift
About The Position
Lead the facility team to maintain and repair facilities machinery and/or equipment, maintain buildings, technical systems, CMMS system, and install utilities and equipment. This role involves planning work processes, material procurement, setup activities, and checking documentation for completeness. The lead will coordinate associates and equipment scheduling, install complex equipment, and ensure its correct function. They will also determine part requirements, diagnose and resolve equipment defects and breakdowns, and conduct difficult maintenance and repair tasks on complex technical equipment. Additionally, the role includes participating in the development of work instructions and procedures, submitting field reports, and communicating effectively with supervisors regarding safety, equipment, and productivity. Cooperation with co-workers is essential for maintaining a good working environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 to 8 years of related work experience
- 3 to 5 years of CMMS Systems experience
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical install per NEC Codes
- Industrial plumbing experience
- Air compressor preventive maintenance experience
- Microsoft Office experience
Responsibilities
- Plan work processes, material procurement, and setup activities.
- Check documentation for completeness.

- Install complex equipment and check for correct function, adjusting as required.
- Determine part requirements and request part procurement.
- Determine causes of defects/shutdowns in complex equipment.
- Conduct difficult maintenance and repair tasks on complex technical equipment.
- Conduct the installation and relocation of complex technical equipment.
- Recognize and eliminate weak areas and cooperate in developing suggestions for improvement.
- Eliminate breakdowns in facility equipment.
- Follow up and coordinate activities for efficient energy usage, lighting system, predictive maintenance, and lightning/grounding systems.
- Participate in the development of work instructions and procedures for facility maintenance activities.
- Develop and deliver on-time field reports to supervisor.
- Effectively communicate with the supervisor any problems with safety, equipment, and/or productivity.
- Be cooperative with co-workers in order to maintain a good working environment.
