Facilities Tech I (Full Time)
About The Position
The Facilities Tech I is responsible for completing work orders related to building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and electrical issues on the property. This role involves interacting professionally with guests, responding to emergencies, and coordinating with other maintenance personnel. Depending on experience and certification, the technician may perform a variety of maintenance tasks and is responsible for preparing records of work performed and materials used. Compliance with all safety requirements, including OSHA, is mandatory. The role also requires the ability to wear a mask while working and performing other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to obtain any required State, County and/or Local licenses/registration, if applicable.
- OSHA Certification required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
- Planning, Remembering Details, Using Arithmetic, Reading, Making Decisions, Discriminating colors, Working Rapidly, Working at Various Tempos, Concentrating Amid Distractions, Examining & Observing Details.
- Standing, Walking, Reaching, Kneeling, Carrying, Pulling, Lifting 50lbs, Sitting, Bending/Stooping, Observing, Stretching, Pushing, Turning, Balancing.
- Inside, Dry Noisy, Heat, Hot, Hazards, High Places, Wet, Outside, Changing Temperatures, Cold, Odors, Dirty, Gloves.

- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities

- Prepares records related to the work performed and materials and supplies used.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
