Facilities Tech I (Full Time)
About The Position
This position is responsible for completing work orders related to building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and electrical issues on property. The Facilities Tech I will interact professionally with guests, respond to emergencies, and coordinate work with other maintenance personnel. Depending on experience and certification level, the role may involve performing a variety of maintenance tasks. This role also requires preparing records of work performed and materials used, complying with all safety requirements, and the ability to wear a mask while working. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to obtain any required State, County and/or Local licenses/registration, if applicable.
- OSHA Certification required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Basic computer knowledge preferred.
- Planning, Remembering Details, Using Arithmetic, Reading, Making Decisions, Discriminating colors, Working Rapidly, Working at Various Tempos, Concentrating Amid Distractions, Examining & Observing Details.
- Standing, Walking, Reaching, Kneeling, Carrying, Pulling, Lifting 50lbs, Sitting, Bending/Stooping, Observing, Stretching, Pushing, Turning, Balancing.
Responsibilities
- Completes work orders as they come in for issues on property relating to building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and electrical issues.
- Interacts professionally with guests.
- Responds to emergencies as requested.
- Coordinates work with other maintenance personnel.
- May perform a variety of maintenance tasks, depending upon experience and level of certification.
- Prepares records related to the work performed and materials and supplies used.
- Complies with all safety requirements as outlined by OSHA.
- Must be able to wear a mask while working.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
