Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience in maintenance fields such as instrumentation, carpentry, construction, plumbing, and/or electrical
  • Computer competency
  • Computerized Maintenance Management software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

  • Performs activities that produce the highest level of quality in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)
  • Learns basic preventative and corrective maintenance work orders under the guidance of experienced technicians
  • Provides installation, maintenance, and repairs to company assets including laboratory, manufacturing, and process equipment
  • Documents all new or relocated equipment, repairs, preventative maintenance, work orders, and calibration of such equipment
  • Completes maintenance activities and upkeep of the Company’s facilities, building equipment, and grounds
  • Monitors contractor performance and work closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to budget and specification
  • Accurately completes paperwork and performs data entry in accordance with Good Documentation Practices on work orders, preventative maintenance, calibrations, and general record keeping
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities in team meetings and other formal and informal settings
  • Promotes safety culture by following all established equipment and process guidelines and proactively identifies hazards
  • Other duties as assigned
