About The Position

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Henry/Carroll is seeking a dedicated and reliable Facilities Support Associate to join our team. This role is integral in ensuring that all campus facilities are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe, clean, and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a full-time position with paid holidays and benefits package.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of three (3) years of janitorial/custodial and/or grounds-keeping experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environmental conditions.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning and grounds-keeping work as required.
Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and general upkeep of the buildings.
Daily removal of inside/outside trash from all buildings, lawns, and parking lots.
Clean counters, sinks, floors, tables, drinking fountains, and chairs in breakroom areas.
Vacuum classrooms, lobbies and offices.
Dust mop/wet mop halls.
Clean all restrooms daily.
Supply hand towels, toilet tissue and hand soap to restroom and shop areas daily.
Clean glass doors/windows as needed.
Traveling to different locations is required.
