Facilities & Supply Chain Manager (DEN Airport)

Olive and FinchDenver, CO
$70,000 - $80,000Onsite

About The Position

The Facilities & Supply Chain Manager at Denver International Airport (DEN) operates with a high level of autonomy to oversee the logistics network, internal grab-and-go market inventory, and physical equipment upkeep for our airport outlets. This critical leadership role acts as the operational backbone of our airport marketplace footprint. Rather than managing broad food and beverage purchasing for the full-service restaurants (which is handled directly by the Restaurant General Managers), this role focuses specifically on managing inventory flow, par levels, and ordering for our retail grab-and-go items sourced from our internal commissary kitchen and select external vendors. Additionally, this role executes hands-on preventative maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting on market equipment, and directly leads, schedules, and motivates a dedicated team of porters/utility workers to keep all markets, kiosks, and coffee shops continuously stocked and fully operational.

Requirements

  • Must be able to successfully pass the required federal background screening and fingerprinting process mandated by Denver International Airport to secure and maintain an airport badge.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in supply chain logistics, inventory management, or facilities/operations coordination-ideally within a high-volume airport, hotel, or multi-unit hospitality group.
  • Comfortable working with tools, performing basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and managing third-party maintenance contractors.
  • Hands-on experience working with Restaurant365 (R365) or equivalent inventory/purchasing enterprise software is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to autonomously manage, schedule, and motivate a team of porters, utility workers, or support staff.
  • Flexible schedule required, including early mornings, weekends, and occasional holidays to oversee critical delivery windows and handle equipment emergencies.
  • Must be able to stand, walk long distances across airport terminals, and work in varied environments (walk-in coolers, dry storage, loading docks).
  • Must be able to bend, reach, and safely lift up to 50 lbs on occasion to assist the team during high-volume delivery windows or maintenance tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience working with Restaurant365 (R365) or equivalent inventory/purchasing enterprise software is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the ordering, procurement, and fulfillment of all internal grab-and-go and market retail items, sourcing primarily from our internal commissary kitchen and approved third-party vendors.
  • Maintain clear communication with Restaurant General Managers, who independently manage and purchase their own location-specific food and beverage inventories.
  • Monitor and maintain precise, dynamic par levels for all grab-and-go markets and automated kiosks using Restaurant365 (R365), adjusting based on passenger volume and data trends.
  • Implement, monitor, and enforce a structured internal requisition system to track product movement between central airport storage spaces and various retail outlets.
  • Conduct routine, thorough physical inventory counts of market items to verify data accuracy, eliminate variances, and actively minimize waste and shrinkage.
  • Coordinate and schedule incoming commissary and vendor deliveries to the airport, ensuring strict adherence to DEN security, dock, and time constraints.
  • Act as the first line of defense for technical issues; independently diagnose, triage, and troubleshoot market equipment (coolers, grab-and-go displays, registers, coffee machines, etc.).
  • Schedule and execute routine preventative maintenance protocols to maximize equipment uptime and prevent operational disruptions.
  • Autonomously coordinate with specialized external repair technicians when issues require advanced fixes. Manage service dispatches and provide the mandatory security escorts through secure airport zones.
  • Oversee, train, and manage the team of utility workers responsible for transporting goods from airport receiving docks to various outlets.
  • Ensure the utility team systematically and safely restocks grab-and-go markets, kiosks, and specialty coffee shops according to visual and food safety standards.
  • Train the utility team on safe lifting techniques, proper equipment handling, and FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation protocols.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary 70k - 80k based on experience.
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans.
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and accrued Sick Time.
  • Company-funded retirement plan to help secure your financial future.
  • Generous meal discounts, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement within a rapidly growing company.
