About The Position

Support and supervise all areas of building maintenance and custodial care. The North Facilities Supervisor working with the Director of Facilities Ministry is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the property along with leadership and oversight of the North Facilities Staff Team to meet the demands of the daily and long-term operations of the facilities. Essential Function Flexible hours and the ability to be reachable during events outside of their normal work week.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains systems for monitoring and tracking repair requests, preventative maintenance work, supplies and parts inventories and purchases.
  • Maintains sufficient inventories of tools, parts and supplies to properly maintain the property.
  • Maintains property map that clearly identifies all utility cut-offs, the location of hydrants, gas mains and any other property safety information.
  • Tracks, records and submits information relative to electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems as may be required by federal, state and local law in conjunction with the Director of Facilities Ministry.
  • Keeps storage and surrounding facilities neat, well-stocked, clean and organized Works with the Director of Facilities Ministry to adhere to budgeted costs parameters along with purchasing supplies, equipment and contract work according to procedures.
  • Regularly inspects property for safety and security issues and ensures general required maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner. Discuss larger needs with the Director of Facilities Ministry.
  • Responsible for the daily operations, room set up for events and cleaning, including per licensing code for the Mary Evans Child Care Development Center, to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our staff, members and visitors.
  • Works with the Director of Facilities Ministry to hire facilities staff according to company policy and procedure.
  • Establishes training, guidelines, procedures and direction to ensure staff fully comprehends expectations.
