About The Position

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day activity involving the maintenance of the buildings/facilities. The incumbent will manage vendor relationships to include contracts, agreements, proposals, and bids as well as coordinate and assist with projects throughout the entire UFB footprint. The incumbent will also oversee and perform general maintenance that includes, but is not limited to, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, lighting, grounds keeping, plumbing, and HVAC at the bank’s various locations. This includes all maintenance activities related to preventative, predictive, corrective, and new installations.

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend the English language.
  • Solid base knowledge of computer skills to include Excel and Word.
  • Resourceful, dependable, takes initiative, self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Strong organizational skills; prioritize workloads, handling multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and oversee team members while driving performance and accountability.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record required.
  • Minimum 5 years of general maintenance required.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect buildings, electrical systems, grounds, and equipment to ensure safe, well-maintained conditions, identify hazards, and defects and the need for adjustment repair.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance schedule and troubleshooting on HVAC systems including changing filters.
  • Complete maintenance work as assigned and in a timely manner.
  • Identify and perform basic service and repair on plumbing fixtures, open clogged lines, and drains, replace faucets, and drains.
  • Operate a variety of machinery such as power tools and lawn care equipment.
  • Perform a variety of locksmith duties; install, repair, and replace locks on doors.
  • Inspect, service, and maintain operations functionality of doors and windows.
  • Install or replace plugs, switches, outlets, light fixtures, bulbs, and ballasts.
  • Assist with moving, loading, unloading, and storing supplies, furniture, and equipment.
  • Set up and tear down for events such as annual community days, meetings, associates’ events.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are organized and secure, as well as in safe, working order.
  • Must be able to work and manage after hour emergencies.
  • Travel between instate locations will be required. At times, travel will be out of state and include overnight stays.
  • Lead and support team members by providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight.
  • Perform duties related to the Bank Secrecy Act under the guidance of the BSA Officer.
