About The Position

The Facilities Supervisor coordinates the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment and structures. The role works with the management team to oversee maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors. This position is in a large, fast-paced casino that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and may involve an irregular work schedule. The work environment includes exposure to alcohol, smoking, bright lights, and loud noises.

Requirements

Three years of experience leading or supervising facility maintenance staff.
Grade 2 Stationary Engineer license.
Ability to secure and maintain licensure required by the Virginia Gaming Control Board or other applicable regulatory entities, or required by Live’s operating standards, to perform assigned duties.
Ability to meet deadlines in an interruptive environment.
Ability to manage a broad variety of tasks and deadlines while working an irregular schedule.
Ability to effectively manage people, processes, and procedures.
Ability to work in an environment where alcohol and smoking are present.
Ability to move throughout a large casino with urgency and energy; stand and sit for long periods; use hands and fingers to handle and feel; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch; and regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance and regulatory inspections.
Coach maintenance staff to support their skill development.
Operate the central utility plant, including dual-fuel boilers, centrifugal chillers, medium-voltage switchgear, and diesel generators.
Coordinate scheduling for small projects with other departments and vendors as needed.
Perform regular inspections to identify areas needing attention and address them with team members.
Track material and parts stock.
Perform other duties as assigned.
