About The Position

Waynflete School has an immediate need for a Facilities Staff member. This is a year-round, full-time position with a preferred work schedule of Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 6:30pm with occasional weekends and overtime required. Daily hours may be able to be adjusted. The school is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and seeks candidates who can enhance the student experience and strengthen the community.

Requirements

• Enjoy working in a student-centered, fast-paced environment which includes a number of constituencies
• A positive, team-oriented demeanor is essential
• Previous experience in the maintenance field
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and heating required
• Must hold a current driver’s license in good standing
• Frequent walking, use of hands, reaching, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and lifting of up to 75 lbs.

• Carpentry skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs
• Assessing electrical, plumbing and heating needs
• Carpentry projects
• Event set-up and clean-up
• Interior/exterior painting
• Landscaping
• Snow removal
• Assisting with general maintenance as requested
