About The Position

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of assigned MVP Recovery facilities. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning duties across multiple locations to ensure a safe and professional environment. The specialist will follow established schedules and procedures, manage cleaning supplies, and report any facility concerns. This position requires the ability to work independently, manage time effectively across different sites, and maintain confidentiality. The role also involves travel between MVP Recovery locations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous commercial, healthcare, office, school, hotel, treatment-facility, or similar cleaning experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for travel between MVP Recovery locations.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning supplies and equipment as required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the workday.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established cleaning procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of assigned MVP Recovery facilities in a consistent and professional manner.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, offices, group rooms, waiting areas, common areas, kitchens, break areas, and other assigned spaces.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout assigned locations, including areas under and around furniture when appropriate.
  • Empty trash and replace liners as needed throughout assigned areas.
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and frequently used areas.
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, ledges, and other accessible surfaces.
  • Clean glass, doors, windows, and other visible surfaces as needed.
  • Remove cobwebs, dust, debris, and other visible buildup and complete additional detail cleaning as needed.
  • Complete scheduled cleaning at West Chester, Exton, Access Center, HQ, Media 206, Media 300, and Upper Darby locations.
  • Follow the established weekly cleaning schedule.
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning checklists and communicate completion or outstanding concerns to Operations.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate inventory needs to Operations so supplies remain adequately stocked.
  • Report maintenance, safety, damage, pest, plumbing, electrical, or other facility concerns to Operations in a timely manner.
  • Perform periodic deep-cleaning and detail-cleaning assignments as directed.
  • Assist with cleaning and facility preparation before inspections, events, or other special circumstances as needed.
  • Follow all MVP Recovery policies and procedures related to safety, confidentiality, infection control, and proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and protect patient privacy and confidential information while working in treatment and administrative areas.
  • Travel between MVP Recovery locations during scheduled work hours as assigned.
  • Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager and/or Executive Leadership.
