As an Air Force Facilities Specialist, you’ll bring your facilities management expertise to work alongside thought leaders in installation resilience and energy policy projects for the Department of the Air Force. You’ll use your skills and expertise to support installation energy and resilience policy worldwide. Work with us to improve the readiness and resiliency of Air Force installations around the world. Requirements

  • Experience supporting Air Force or Department of War installations
  • Experience collaborating and interacting with installation leadership, subject matter experts or cross functional base teams to gather information, support decision making, and develop operational solutions
  • Knowledge of base operations, mission priorities, and installation organizational structures
  • Knowledge of installation governance, authority, and stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledge of installation level water, energy, or infrastructure management resource programs
  • Knowledge of mission critical operations and functions at an installation level and how resource constraints impact operations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Air Force or Department of War personnel, including oral and written communication
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience on an Air Force headquarters or senior staff
  • Knowledge of the Department of War budget cycle and acquisition processes
  • Knowledge of Air Force policy development, particularly concerning facilities and installations
